As part of its activities intended to commemorate its second anniversary, www.gosicilyproperties.com clients were recently given the opportunity to experience Antonello Venditti live in concert at the Teatro Greco in Taormina.

The concert formed part of Venditti’s summer 2008 tour under the name Dalla Pelle al Cuore, which is also the title track of his most recent album. The concert, which lasted a full two hours, was replete with most of Venditti’s work, including Altamarea, Ci Vorrebbe un Amico, Giulio Cesare and Ricordati di me, which brought the concert to a fitting end. The splendour of the venue, an archaeological jewel dating back to pre-Christian times, together with the wonderful August night sky against the backdrop of the summer lights of the resort town of Giardini Naxos added to the unique experience of the concert by this veteran Rome cantautore, thirty one years after the release of his first hit single, Sara.

The logistics of the www.gosicilyproperties.com group were in the hands of Mario Spiteri, company Managing Director, and Lana Ignatova, who is responsible for the company’s marketing in Russia and Ukraine. This included the procurement of excellent concert tickets, the transportation to Taormina from the Ragusa/Siracusa area, where most of the company’s clients have purchased their second home, as also a brief tour of Taormina with an obligatory pit stop for an exquisite Cassata Siciliana or Cannolo di Ricotta, followed by an after-concert snack.
